Discipline & Code of Conduct

Discipline & Code of Conduct

At Alpha G.K. Matriculation Higher Secondary School, we believe that discipline is the foundation of a successful educational journey. Our code of conduct is built on the principles of respect, responsibility, integrity, and self-discipline, helping students grow into ethical and emotionally intelligent individuals. We maintain high standards of behavior and expect every student to uphold the school’s values both on and off campus.

The discipline system at Alpha G.K. is not punitive, but constructive, aimed at guiding students toward self-awareness, accountability, and good citizenship.

School Diary & Personal Responsibility

  • Every student must carry their school diary to record homework, communication, and leave details.
  • Students are responsible for the safety of their belongings and must avoid bringing valuables to school.

Attitude & Presentation

  • Students are expected to maintain a clean and presentable appearance at all times.
  • Good manners, clean habits, and orderly conduct are considered signs of character and must be practiced daily.

Enforcement of Discipline

  • Disciplinary matters are handled with fairness, and students are given a chance to express themselves.
  • Repeated misconduct may result in:
    • Warnings
    • Parent meetings
    • Suspension
    • Expulsion in severe cases

Note: The school reserves the right to amend or introduce new rules in the interest of institutional discipline and student development.

Role of Parents

  • Parents must cooperate with the school in enforcing discipline at home.
  • They should refrain from criticizing school authorities in front of their children, as this undermines respect and compliance.
  • Prompt response to school circulars and attendance at PTMs is crucial for consistent student behavior management.

At Alpha G.K., our code of conduct encourages students to be self-disciplined, respectful, and principled. We aim to shape not just well-educated minds, but morally upright and socially responsible citizens.

“Your character is your capital. At Alpha, we help you invest it wisely.”
