School History

Alpha G.K. Matriculation Higher Secondary School was established in the academic year 2004–2005 with a firm vision to deliver character-based quality education. The journey began with 81 students and has grown remarkably over the years due to unwavering commitment, academic excellence, and community support.

Our focus has always been on shaping responsible citizens by combining academic achievements with cultural values and social responsibility. Over the years, we have introduced various modern teaching aids, life skill programs, and co-curricular initiatives that enhance the personality and confidence of every student.

One of our proudest milestones was setting a World Record in the Nilgiris for the largest Badaga dance performance involving 435 students, recognized by international and national record bodies. The school also offers free education to differently-abled students and provides scholarships for meritorious and minority students.

As of the academic year 2014-15, the school had expanded to 665 students, 60 teaching and non-teaching staff, and a fleet of 7 vehicles, continuing our mission with collective teamwork, dedication, and excellence in education.
